Quick Reference Information
Boarding
Overnight Boarding:
Check-in is between 12pm and 5pm Monday through Saturday and 12pm to 5:00pm on Sundays. Pick-up is between 830am and 230pm.
We recommend dropping off before 4:30pm (4pm on Sundays) so we can have more time with your dog(s) and/or cat(s) to help them adjust during their first night with us. If you do need to drop off towards the end of our business hours we ask you to feed your pet(s) prior to arrival to ensure they receive their normal feeding in a familiar environment.
Charges begin on the day you drop off, regardless of the time of drop off.
Check-outs before 12:00pm will not incur an additional daily charge. A check-out that occurs after 12:00pm will include an additional full days charge. If your pet is scheduled to receive any kind of bath on their last day with us you will NOT be charged the additional day regardless of the time you pick up.
Pill form medication for both dogs and cats can be administered at no additional fee. Each dose for any eye/ear drops costs $3.00. Insulin and other injections cost $5 per dose.
Feeding:
We feed our pets here at Lakeside a premium brand food. We recommend that you bring your pet's own food from home. This will prevent any digestive issues with switching foods abruptly. We ask for all clients to bring each meal pre measured in zip-loc type bags with your pet's name on them. Canned/wet food does not have to be portioned out. This helps us ensure proper feeding amounts and frequencies as well as making sure your pet will have enough food for the entirety of their stay with us. We are able to keep foods in a refrigerator if your pet requires that. Due to storage limitations and the reasons above we will no longer accept: food bins, Tupperware containers, or large food bags. Home-brought food that is not pre-bagged will incur a $2 per meal fee.*Exceptions can be made in advance with our approval under certain circumstances such as length of stay, quantity of pets, etc.
Reservation Policy:
First time boarders are required to leave a 50% advance deposit of the full boarding cost to finalize a reservation.
Returning clients are required to leave an advance deposit of one nights rate to finalize a reservation.
*Deposit requirements are subject to change based on vacancy, season, and other factors.
Cancellations made with at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date are eligible for full refunds.
Office Closures:
During some holidays and inclement weather our office may be closed to the public. We will do our best to provide as much notice as possible. Do not worry though. Even though our office may be closed (No check-in/check-out) we have kennel techs taking care of the animals every single day of the year; no matter the weather or holiday.

Lakeside offers a full service bathing salon for your dogs or cats. All baths include a free nail clipping, ear cleaning, and brushing.
Bathing appointments can be made without any boarding services. Prices are based on many different factors specific to your pet.

Daycare
We offer daycare services for both dogs and cats all year round. Daycare consists of the same amenities that our boarding guests receive. Your pup will have their own indoor and outdoor run (room). If you have a cat, they will have their own Kitty Condo, just like our boarding cats. Bedding and bowls are always supplied to our guests. Your pet will always have access to fresh water during their stay and we can feed them during their daycare at no extra charge if you would like.

Vaccination REQUIREMENTS
We require Bordetella, DHPP-Combo, as well as Rabies Vaccinations for all dogs. All cats are required to be up to date on Rabies and FVRCP. If your pet requires a vaccination we request that it be done no less than 10 days before admission. We must receive vaccination records at least 5 days prior to boarding or we will not be able to accept your pet.
